A new smokehouse restaurant & craft ale bar has opened in the North Staffordshire town of Leek.

Spread across two floors and created by local couple Nathan Walwyn and Bernadeta Bridgwood, The Old Mill Smokehouse serves ‘low’n’slow’ BBQ smoked or grilled meats, vegetables, lighter bites and snacks.

The food menu boasts a variety of starters -  including BBQ burnt ends, Old Mill nachos and boneless smoked chicken thighs - and smoked mains of garlic sausages, chicken, pulled pork and baby back ribs. It also offers a selection of steaks and burgers.

All ingredients are sourced from local producers and suppliers.

The ground-level craft beer bar, meanwhile, offers a wide selection of award-winning craft, draught, cask and world beers, along with ciders, wines, gins and innovative cocktails...
