Conducted by Richard Coull, the Warwickshire Symphony Orchestra are joined by African-born violinist Zoe Beyers for a concert celebrating some of the best classical music compositions from Russia's finest at Leamington’s All Saints Parish Church on 14 March.

Programme includes Khachaturian's Masquerade Suite, originally written as incidental music for a production of a play of the same name by Russian poet and playwright Mikhail Lermontov which premiered on 21 June, 1941.

Also featured is Shostakovich's Symphony No.1 in F minor, considered as one of his finest works. Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor, regarded as the composer's largest orchestral work, completes the programme.
