Coventry restaurant, Basement Browns, have won a gold award from the Pizza, Pasta and Italian Food Association, placing it in the top six pizzerias in England and Scotland.

Although they have only been open for a year in Coventry, the family-run business opened a branch in Leamington back in 2016 and never looked back.

Owner Rupi Singh Sandhu and his brothers bring authentic Italian flavours to the city and only use brown bases for their pizzas, which can also be made gluten free.
