One of the region’s most popular curry houses has had its achievements recognised this year at the prestigious Curry Life Awards. On Sunday 22 October, Leamington’s Millennium Balti took home the title of Best in Warwickshire 2017.

Organised by Curry Life Magazine in association with Just Eat, the Curry Life Awards were launched in 2009, and have since gone on to become the most celebrated annual event for British curry houses, honouring industry professionals demonstrating culinary excellence and outstanding service.

Acknowledged as the voice of the curry industry in the UK, the bi-monthly Curry Life magazine is distributed free to over 10,000 restaurants throughout the country, with an estimated readership of over 100,000. It is also available in some specialist newsagents and Asian supermarkets as well as having a presence in continental Europe, the Middle East and South Asia.

This year’s awards were presented by Michael Buerk at a glittering ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. MP Matt Western showed his support for local business by attending the event along with the brothers who run the restaurant and take-away.
