Plans for a £25 million revamp of Coventry city centre would include a new restaurant quarter to match that of Cathedral Lanes and Broadgate.

Coventry City Council want to regenerate the area around Market Way and Smithford Way and they hope these plans will attract big high street brands. The Council will apply for maximum grand funding from the government’s £675 million Future High Street Fund to put towards the project.

A wine bar called The Den is set to open on Smithford Way along with a Chinese restaurant.
