The annual competition to find Rugby town centre’s best Christmas Shop Window display is back!

Rugby First will launch the competition to find the finest festive display on Friday 4 December and in a change from previous years is asking Rugby locals and shoppers to vote for their favourites.

The competition is open to all retailers, and there is a top prize of £500 advertising with Muddy Stilettos lifestyle blog for the winner.

Meanwhile, all voters who correctly identify the Christmas song title hidden in the shop windows will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win £100 shopping vouchers – just in time for Christmas.

Rich Warren, Rugby First’s operations director, said: “After an incredibly difficult year, our town centre shops want to spread some Christmas cheer and have gone all out in creating some fantastic designs. More than 20 businesses  are taking part in the Christmas Window competition and trail which is a great way for us to promote some truly creative retailers to the public.”

Every day from Friday 4 December, Rugby First will publish a selection of shop window displays on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for the public to choose the overall winner, which will be announced on Friday 11 December.
