A popular country pub in Hatton is set to reopen its doors with a brand-new look and summer menu following the latest government announcement.

The Falcon at Hatton, a gastro pub, restaurant & hotel on Birmingham Road, has been closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic since March but will be welcoming customers back from Saturday 4 July.

Owners Jason Shadlock and Kieren Bodill, along with their team, have been hard at work renovating the pub over the last 13 weeks, and introducing measures to keep staff and customers safe both indoors and outdoors, where a new bar has been installed to accommodate guests in a large garden area.

Jason said: “It’s incredibly rare to get down-time like this as a pub owner, so we wanted to take advantage of the opportunity presented to us to complete these works.

“We’ve not just thought about the interior of the building but have also introduced plenty of new tables in the garden, and an outside bar and service point.

“We look forward to welcoming customers back and have put in place a range of measures to keep everyone safe whilst enjoying our new surroundings.”
