Two tickets to see Richard III

Stafford Shakespeare’s ambitious 2026 production of Shakespeare’s political tragedy Richard III opens at Stafford Gatehouse Theatre this June.

Running from 23 June to 4 July at the Stafford Gatehouse Theatre, the show stars Netflix actor Matthew Duckett in the title role and is directed by Richard Cheshire.

Inspired by the brutal gangland atmosphere of Peaky Blinders, the production reimagines England’s War of the Roses through a dark, post-war setting. Audiences can expect betrayal, manipulation and ruthless ambition as Richard pursues the crown. The theatre promises a gripping, stylish and powerful interpretation of one of Shakespeare’s most infamous kings for modern theatre audiences everywhere.

What’s On is offering two lucky readers the chance to win two tickets to see Richard III at Stafford Gatehouse on a performance of their choice from Tuesday 23 June - Saturday 4 July.

Competition closes Wednesday 17 June
