Bodycare is set to make its return to Merry Hill this month, with the health and beauty retailer opening a new-generation Studio Store at the shopping centre on Saturday 10 October.
The brand is returning to its former lower mall location, next to JD Sports and opposite Asda, marking the fifth opening in its new Studio Store format following launches in Sheffield, Derby, Leicester and Bradford.
The 3,000sq ft store has been designed to offer shoppers a mix of everyday essentials, trending beauty products and regular new product launches. Alongside an expanded cosmetics range and Korean beauty products, visitors will also find an on-site piercing service.
A key feature of the store is its free-to-use Creator Studio, which provides a dedicated space for local content creators, community groups, charities, schools and clubs to create digital content and host events.
Bodycare chief executive Charles Denton said the retailer aims to create a destination where customers can discover something new on every visit.
“Merry Hill was an easy decision for us,” he said. “It’s one of the UK’s great retail destinations and has exactly the energy we’re looking for. Our Studio Stores are about much more than selling products. They’re places to discover, create, connect and have fun.”
Jonathan Poole, centre manager at Merry Hill, welcomed the retailer’s return.
“Bodycare has always been a firm favourite with our visitors, so we’re thrilled to be welcoming the brand back to Merry Hill,” he said. “The new store brings a fresh new look to a much-loved name and is a fantastic addition to the centre’s extensive beauty and health offer.”
A grand opening celebration will take place on Saturday 10 October, featuring live entertainment, a DJ, beauty experiences, giveaways and special guests. Doors open at 10am.
