Popular family event, Eye Music Trust: Colourscape, will be heading Wolverhampton's West Park this August.
Experience the intense colour and light of this amazing walk-in labyrinth, and hear music reflecting sounds of Water, Earth and Air. Wander through extraordinary views of radiant colour and discover musicians and dancers who will lead you on a unique journey of the senses.
Colourscape is part of the Same Difference Youth Festival, which is taking place this year on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 August. On the Saturday participants in the Youth Festival will perform in Colourscape and on the Sunday, the Symphony of Connections artists will perform throughout the day.
Musicians Ansuman Biswas, Sylvia Hallett, Michael Ormiston, David Stevens and Beibei Wang create a unique journey of the elements of Air, Earth and Water with unusual instruments including Tibetan Singing Bowls, amplified bicycle wheel and waterphones. With creative dancers, Conn Williams and Daisy West.
Admission for the Saturday is free, with tickets available here. Whilst tickets for the Symphony of Connections performance on the Sunday are priced at £6 adult, £4 child and £15 family ticket, and are available here.
