Dame Darcey Bussell has been confirmed for the line-up for U.Dance Digital 2020.

She will be joined by Strictly Come Dancing's Alijaž Skorjanec & Janette Manrara, Boy Blue’s Kenrick ‘H20’ Sandy, the Royal Ballet’s Steven McRae and West End star Layton Williams.

U.Dance is the UK's largest youth dance festival and will this year be delivered via a digital platform.

Taking place from 17 to 19 July, the free-to-access event features digital dance masterclasses, industry information panels and dance showcases.

Organised by One Dance UK, the festival will also provide a platform for young choreographers and writers. The U.Dance Choreography Challenge, supported by Harlequin Floors, will encourage youth dance companies, schools and individuals to send videos of their work to be showcased on the U.Dance Digital weekend.

Additionally, the U.Dance Writing Challenge offers young writers the chance to write a guest column in a national dance magazine and online. Entries for both challenges close on 3 July.

Each evening, dance fans of all ages can enjoy streams of the best in youth dance talent, including an exclusive screening of a work from Rambert’s company of gifted early-career dancers, Rambert2.
