The event specialists, Digbeth Dining Club, have unveiled their 2023 Summer Tour and it’s bigger and better than ever.

The tour, which takes in 3 new locations, will see a choc a bloc schedule starting in April and will meander all the way across the region throughout the remaining months with events booked in until the start of September. In all there are 32 events this year, spread across the West Midlands and beyond.

Traders such as award winning Greidy’s Chicken, Beef on the Block and noted sausage flingers, Fat Snags, will all be in attendance across the various dates while DDC’s resident DJ’s, plus special guests, will be bringing the musical vibes, all in the backdrops of some of the regions most idyllic settings.

Alongside their bricks and mortar sites such as Herbert’s Yard in Longbridge and Hockley Social Club in the bustling Jewellery Quarter, they are taking their tour to new locations in Lightwoods Park in Bearwood, once the seat of Malt Maker Jonathan Grundy II, the Rugby Club in Sutton Coldfield and Sandwell Valley Park in the Black Country. The events are all family friendly and offer something for all ages and tastes.

The team recently announced permanent sites in Coventry City Centre and The Waterfront at Merry Hill Shopping Centre.

The tour also takes in the grounds of Warwick Castle where they have been in residence over the past 3 years with their Open Arms pub garden atmosphere which has sold out every year due to its party nature.

Having started off in 2012, the team behind thousands of different street food, cultural and music events, have grown steadily every year and they promise that their 11th year as pioneers in the industry will be their largest yet.

Last year, they welcomed over half a million guests for their 10th Birthday Tour across their 20 locations and 60 events. They also enabled over 50 street food traders to sell their passion to customers and also worked with over 20 local event suppliers, securing much needed jobs across the sector which has been badly hit by the cost of living crisis and the effects of the pandemic.

Jack Brabant, co-founder of Digbeth Dining Club, said of the 2023 tour, “For 11 years we have grown and expanded our offering to make the events that we put on as accessible as possible for as many people as we can and this year is no exception, taking in more sites and hopefully delivering fun to even more people across the region. We go where the people are and the new sites, Sutton, Sandwell and Bearwood, came off the back of public requests so we spoke to the people in charge of the sites and we all agreed it was a good idea to explore these and give people what they want”.

Speaking about what to expect from the Summer Tour, Mr Brabant added, “The DDC format works well and offers a little something for everyone so we won’t change too much, we will bring the same great food and music to all parts of the region and hopefully the public will continue to enjoy it all in some glorious surroundings”.
