English National Ballet (ENB) is to stage a free full performance of its production Nora as part of its Wednesday Watch Parties initiative.

A one-act ballet inspired by the lead character in Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House, Nora follows a woman as she journeys towards independence. When past choices catch up with her and reveal a new side to her husband, Nora sees their relationship crumble and her illusions shatter - leading to a life-changing decision.

Featuring the music of acclaimed composer Philip Glass, Nora was originally created as part of the company's She Persisted triple bill and was recorded at Sadler's Wells in 2019.

Viewers can watch the show on ENB's Facebook page from today (Wednesday 20 May) at 7pm. The production will also be available to view via the company's YouTube channel.
