Forge Mill Farm's sunflower fields will once again open to the public this August.

From Saturday 12 until Friday 25 August, visitors will have the chance to explore the 400 metre tail through the fields of 250,000 sunflowers.

Day time visits to the Sunflower field are included in the usual Forge Mill Farm ‘Summer at the farm’ ticket and for all Summer Pass holders. With visitors also able to check out the farm and its animals during their visit.

Plus on site will be a new bale tower to take in the spectacular views, a bale adventure zone and sandpit, and the chance to pick your own sunflowers to take home.

This season there will also be opportunities to explore the sunflowers at sunset, allowing you catch some photos at golden hour, enjoy live music from local artists and try out a wood fired pizza and an evening bar.

These include Music & Photography night on Friday 11 & Saturday 19 August, 6:30- 8:30, Kids night on Saturday 12 & Friday 18 August 6:30- 8:30 and back by popular demand, Dogs night on Sunday 13 and Sunday 20 August, 6:30- 8:30 (dogs are not permitted at any other events or during daytime visits).

Plus, new for 2023, Illyria Theatre will be performing Robin Hood amongst the sunflowers, in an unique outdoor theatre experience for all the family, on Tuesday 15 August from 6:00- 7:30pm.
