Restaurant and micro-farm, The Boat in Lichfield, has retained its Three Rosettes for 2025.

The recognition of culinary excellence and dedication to ensure consistent quality of the highest order, were announced at the AA Hospitality Awards in September 2025.

The long-established AA Rosettes for culinary excellence celebrate successful cooking at different levels across the UK. Awarded by the AA's team of inspectors with their wealth of experience in assessing quality, receiving this award is a significant achievement in this industry and beyond.

Recommended in the Michelin guide, and noted in the Estrella Damm Top Gastropubs list, Chef Liam Dillon’s cooking ethos is immersed in the seasonal and sustainable, showcasing the best of modern British food. Three Rosettes, notable wine list with AA & finalist in their sustainability award for 2024.

Over the last eight years, Liam has transformed what was a pub into a restaurant and micro-farm, which supplies the restaurant with a number of its produce, grown on site.
