The ever-popular Illyria Theatre will once again tour Midlands venues this summer bringing three outdoor productions to the region.
Having first being performed by Illyria back in 1997, the company’s latest outdoor touring version of JM Barrie’s classic story Peter Pan visits Hanbury Hall in Droitwich (29 July), Moseley Old Hall in Wolverhampton (16 August), Shrewsbury’s Attingham Park (24 August) and Bolton Gate Farm in Stoke-on-Trent (2 September).
Meanwhile Shakespeare's timeless comic masterpiece A Midsummer Night's Dream will be staged at Winterbourne Gardens in Birmingham (24 June), and Gilbert & Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance will visit Birmingham Botanical Gardens (31 August), Attingham Park (9 September) and Coughton Court in Alcester (10 September).
