Wolverhampton Pride has announced Jude Guaitamacchi will host the poplar city centre event on 7 June.
Jude Guaitamacchi is a trans and non-binary, award-winning campaigner, speaker, and the founder of the Trans Solidarity Alliance. For over 12 years, they have delivered talks and workshops on mental health, LGBTQ+ inclusion, and gender awareness to leading global businesses, brands, schools, and universities, reaching audiences in over 74 countries.
Jude will host the celebrations from the stage in Wolverhampton’s Market Square with a line-up that includes Pussycat Dolls’ Kimberly Wyatt and Queenz, the dazzling drag extravaganza. They are joined by the UK’s leading Taylor Swift tribute act Lauren G, the UK’s first trans rapper Nate Ethan, Wolverhampton’s own 6ft 5 live-singing bundle of dynamite Miss Sundi with Gina Tonic, Bilston Operatic Company perform numbers from their upcoming production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert and Midlands-based singer-songwriter Kyle Finn will see out the evening in style.
The headline sponsor for Wolverhampton Pride 2025 is Wolverhampton Grand Theatre in partnership with City of Wolverhampton Council, Wolverhampton Grand Theatre, Enjoy Wolverhampton, Gorgeous Radio, X2Y LGBT Youth, Wolverhampton LGBT+, The White Hart, Gorgeous Nightclub, Wolverhampton Homes and Arena Theatre.
Wolverhampton Pride is an event that is open for everyone to come together to celebrate, to learn about and to support LGBTQ+ inclusion within the city of Wolverhampton. The fundamental ethos of Wolverhampton Pride is the city working together to deliver a truly inclusive and accessible celebration of the LGBTQ+ community.
A City of Wolverhampton Council spokesperson said: “We are so excited to finalise the Wolverhampton Pride 2025 line-up by welcoming Jude Guaitamacchi to host the main event in Market Square as well as leading our Pride parade.
“There’s still time to grab your tickets and join us at the main event on Saturday 7 June, we hope to see all of you there joining in the celebrations.”
