The all-male ballet company Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo will make their debut in Wolverhampton this month, and away from the stage, will be hosting two workshops for people to join.

Both workshops will take place on Saturday 16 May. They are as followed:

  • Makeup Demonstration | 11am-12.30pm (12 places available)

Ever wondered what happens in the final moments before the curtain rises? Step backstage with The Trocks and witness the incredible transformation from streetwear to full ballerina glamour.

Sit inside one of the dressing rooms, observe a live makeup demonstration, and chat directly with a company member about their process, routines, and performance preparation.

Whether you are a theatre student, a long-time Trocks fan, or completely new to ballet, this
workshop offers a rare and fascinating glimpse into the final hour before showtime.

  • The Dying Swan Dance Workshop| 1pm – 2.30pm (30 places available)

In this workshop, participants will enjoy a short dance warm-up and then dive into steps from The Dying Swan solo, famously performed by Anna Pavlova, before exploring the playful, comic reinterpretation by Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo.

The workshop is suitable for all levels of dance experience, offering great flexibility for older people and individuals with little or no prior dance experience.
