Local authors, writing groups and comic artists are invited to apply for a free table at Dudley Library’s first ever Authors’ Market.

Taking place on Saturday 25 April from 11am to 3pm, the event aims to celebrate local talent, with those taking part able to promote their work, network with others and sell direct to the public.

“Saturday is one of the library’s busiest days, so this is a great opportunity for authors to bring along their own books and marketing materials, without any cost for the space,” said library assistant Imogen Laverick, who is also a published writer.

“We aim to showcase a wide range of books and welcome applications from authors and comic artists of all genres. The deadline for applications is Friday 20 March and places are limited.”
