A new Armed Forces Hub is being launched in Wolverhampton, offering a regular, welcoming space for the Armed Forces community, including serving personnel, veterans, reservists, and their families.

It will take place monthly at Central Library, with sessions running on the first Thursday of the month from 1pm to 4pm, the first of which will take place on Thursday 4 June.

The hub will bring together local services, charities and community organisations in one place, making it easier for people to get advice, support, or simply have a conversation about what they might need.

The hub will also recognise that service life doesn’t just affect the person in uniform, it affects the people around them too. By welcoming families as well, it aims to reflect the reality of military life and make sure support is there for everyone who needs it.

The Armed Forces Hub is being delivered by STEPWAY CIO, working alongside the City of Wolverhampton Council and a wide range of local partners, and is part of the council’s ongoing commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant, helping to make sure that people are treated fairly and can access the support available to them.

Residents who are part of the Armed Forces community are encouraged to come along, find out what’s available, and get involved.
