A summertime pop-up bar at Himley Hall offering wine and beer on Friday evenings opens this week.
The bar will operate from inside the Coffee Lounge at the historic hall, with opening hours extended until 7.30pm on Fridays in August, starting this week.
The wine is being supplied by The Wine Press, an independent merchant based in Lye.
Councillor Damian Corfield, cabinet member for neighbourhoods, said:
“This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a late afternoon or early evening glass of wine or a cold beer on the terrace and watch the sun come down over the lake.
“We have a brand new wine list and are delighted to be working with a local supplier in The Wine Press.
“It will only be on Fridays to start with, but if it proves popular we will look to extend it.”
The rest of the park - including the new children’s playground proving a massive hit during the school holidays - will also be open to 9.30pm until Monday 18 August, and 8.30pm up to Monday 1 September.
