Popular evening events are set to return to the Black Country Living Museum this summer, offering visitors the chance to enjoy live entertainment, traditional food and family fun in a unique historic setting.
The museum's much-loved Summer Lates will run every Friday evening from 31 July to 28 August, with the attraction extending its opening hours until 8pm. Visitors arriving after 4pm can enjoy discounted admission of £8.49, while annual pass holders will be able to attend free of charge.
Organisers say the events are designed to capture the atmosphere of a classic British summer evening, with live music, fairground rides, food and drink, and the opportunity to explore the museum's 31-acre site after hours.
Entertainment throughout the series will include performances from Shannon the Vocalist and musician Alex Robottom, whose repertoire spans music from the 1920s through to the 1960s. Visitors can expect a mix of well-known classics and dancefloor favourites designed to keep the summer spirit alive.
Food lovers will also be able to sample a range of traditional Black Country favourites from the museum's historic outlets, alongside refreshments served in the museum's period pubs and cafés.
As well as the special evening entertainment, guests will have access to many of the museum's most popular attractions, including vintage transport, live industrial demonstrations, the 1920s Limelight Cinema and the traditional fairground.
Tickets are available now at bclm.com, with the first Summer Lates event taking place on Friday 31 July.
