Families can experience the magic of Christmas with a unique and immersive virtual train ride to the North Pole at Merry Hill this December.

Situated in the Central Event Space, Lower Mall near Holland & Barrett and Ernest Jones, The North Pole Express will run at the shopping centre until Tuesday 23 December .

Your journey will begin at the ticket office, where your golden ticket will be checked by the friendly train conductor, where you’ll step into the decorated train carriage.

Then your imagination will transport you through a whimsical winter wonderland, before arriving at the most magical spot of all: The North Pole. Santa will be waiting to greet you, chatting to each child to discover their Christmas list (and checking it twice), posing for festive photos and presenting a special gift to every young passenger.

Tickets cost £15 (includes a gift from Santa) for children, adults are £7.50 and carers go free (1 per booking, with a full-priced ticket. Proof of ID required) - a £1.25 booking fee per ticket is automatically added on the purchase page. Tickets are available at mymerryhillevents.co.uk.
