Beer and cider enthusiasts are set for a special summer celebration as the Wolverhampton Summer Festival of Beer & Cider returns to Wolverhampton Arts Centre from 23 to 25 July 2026.
The popular festival, organised by Wolverhampton CAMRA, will have extra reason to celebrate this year as the branch marks its 50th anniversary. Visitors can expect an impressive selection of real ales, ciders and perries, alongside live entertainment, local history exhibits and a festival atmosphere.
Running across three days, the event will showcase beers from breweries across the region and beyond, giving festival-goers the chance to sample a wide range of styles while enjoying food, music and entertainment in the venue’s grounds and marquee.
To mark the golden anniversary, organisers have commissioned a special commemorative festival glass and teamed up with Newbridge Brewery to create an exclusive Wolverhampton CAMRA 50th Anniversary Ale, which will be available during the festival.
This year's event will also celebrate a unique piece of the city's transport heritage. The festival theme marks 100 years since Wolverhampton-based Guy Motors introduced its pioneering six-wheeled double-deck buses in July 1926. The historic vehicles, which helped shape public transport in Britain, will feature in the festival's branding alongside the familiar Beerwolf mascot.
Live music is expected to be a major attraction throughout the weekend, with performances taking place in the festival marquee on Friday evening and Saturday. Thursday offers a more relaxed start to proceedings for those looking to enjoy the drinks selection at a quieter pace.
The festival takes place at Wolverhampton Arts Centre on Dunkley Street, with doors opening from midday each day. Advance tickets are now available, with discounts for CAMRA members and three-day passes available for visitors planning to attend across the whole weekend. Tickets are available at wolverhamptonartscentre.co.uk.
