Great news for Wolverhampton foodies this week, as Wrapchic throws open its doors in the Mander Centre on Friday 12th October, with a riot of food, drinks and other festivities! On opening day only, you can also pick up a delicious Wrapchic burrito for just £2.95.
Wrapchic specialises in fresh, delicious Indian street food, such as naan wraps, tortillas and rice bowls, filled with delights like chicken Rajasthani, chicken Mughlai, fishMalabari and paneer Bhurji, all cooked by expert Indian chefs with authentic spices and aromatics.
Run by husband and wife team Bilal and Meena Nouar, Wrapchic will bring Indian food to the town in a new way. ‘I’ve been in the hospitality industry for a few years, and have always wanted to run an Indian venue with a difference,’ says Bili. ‘Wolverhampton is investing heavily in regenerating the area, and we’re happy to be a part of bringing high quality food to locals. We’re passionate about Wrapchic as it’s perfect for this - it’s Indian flavours that locals will love, but with a casual, modern twist.’
Wrapchic meals are easily customisable, and there are plenty of options for vegans, vegetarians, and those who are gluten or dairy-free, and all meat is halal. Wraps are great for eating on the go, but diners can also take a seat and relax in-store. Open into the evening, it’s the ideal option for delicious snacks and meals through morning, afternoon and night.
Breakfast will be available, with options including fresh parathas with your choice of fillings – delicious pre-work options! The coffee is fresh and provided by ChangePlease – the social enterprise that helps get homeless people into work and learning new skills.
The Mander Centre store will open on 12th October at 8.30am. There will be samples for customers to taste throughout the day, and staff will be happy to chat andanswer any questions about Wrapchic, and why it’s such a great choice at any time of day.
