There’s a packed programme of family events this Easter at Worcester Arts Workshop. From comics to ceramics, there’s something on offer for children of all ages.

Events begin with an Easter Arts Camp on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 April from 10am to 3pm. The theme of this day-long creative workshop is Chasing Rainbows and Finding Mythical Creatures, with participants encouraged to join in with painting, drawing and making shoe box theatres (suitable for ages 5-11 years). And on Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 April from 10am to 4pm, there will be a Senior Easter Art Camp (suitable for young people aged 12-16 years).

Next up, there’s a unique opportunity to Teach Your Kids Tai Chi on Thursday 25 April, from 11am to 12.30pm. This short, fun and practical workshop introduces parents and children together to the graceful and flowing art of Tai Chi. Each young participant can bring their grown-up with them for free!

If comic books are your thing then look no further than the Wild About Comics Family Day on Saturday 27 April from 11am to 4.30pm. This fantastic event for all of the family will have free comics given away, drawing competitions and games, Cosplay activities and much more.

Throughout the Easter holidays there are several opportunities for young people to join in with Pottery Workshops, beginning with Architecture Reliefs on Tuesday 16 April from 10am to 12 noon (suitable for ages 11-16 years). The fun continues with pottery sculpting workshops - My Ideal Pet on Wednesday 24 April from 10am to 11.30am and Time Travel Through History: Buildings on Thursday 25 April from 10am to 11.30am (both suitable for ages 5-11 yrs).

As always, Worcester Arts Workshop will continue to host dance workshops and rehearsals for resident dance companiesTranslucent Youth Dance Company (age 11+), Translucent Dance Technique and Performance and Translucent Dance Youth Touring (both age 16+) on Thursday evenings in the Theatre.
