Worcester Arts Workshop is hosting two online workshops in the next few weeks.

The courses are:

An Introduction To Painting Watercolour Landscapes, Inspired By Turner The course will guide budding artists through the basic watercolour techniques. There will be practical advice on drawing out and planning a painting, colour mixing, washes, painting in detail and producing a final piece.

Running on Wednesdays from 24 June to 8 July, from 7pm to 8pm, the course costs £10 in total for all three sessions (plus booking fee)...

Taking place across five weekly sessions, Creative Writing For Beginners will help participants to find the story they’ve always wanted to write.

Course tutor, published writer, playwright and dramaturg Caroline Jester will help participants develop their ideas and commit them to paper. Exploring how to structure ideas using exercises and resources, by the end of the course writers will have material to share and a roadmap on how to take it to the next stage, and to keep writing.

Whether your ideas are prose, drama or poetry, this course is about unearthing the story and testing out the best way to tell that story. Suitable for over-18s.

Running on Thursdays from 2 to 30 July, from 7pm to 8pm, the course costs £25 in total for all five sessions (plus booking fee).

Both courses take place via Zoom, so all participants will require a Smartphone, tablet or computer with the Zoom app downloaded. To book a space or for further information, visit worcesterartsworkshop.org.uk/adult-courses/
