Children from across the district will be able to send their wish lists to Father Christmas from Malvern Tourist Information Centre.

The Christmas Victorian Post Box is now open and can be found as usual inside Malvern TIC, located at the top of Church Street just below Belle Vue Island.

Children will be able to post their letters with a special £1 stamp and will receive a personal reply with a small gift from Father Christmas direct from the North Pole.

All proceeds from the letters will be donated to Acorn’s Children's Hospice.

Letters can be posted until Monday December 17 and the post box will also be accessible on November 24 during the Christmas Lights Switch-On as part of the Great Malvern Christmas Festival.

Cllr David Chambers, Leader of Malvern Hills District Council, said: “We are really excited to have the postbox back for the children to enjoy. This lovely tradition not only makes Christmas that more magical but it also raises funds for a worthwhile charity which provides much-needed care and services for children, young people and their families.”
