For the past 4 years, the Rotary Club of Redditch have presented the award-winning Midland Youth Jazz Orchestra (MYJO) in Redditch, as a fund-raiser for its local charity. This year, MYJO’s concert has been brought forward to October and tickets are now on sale for this great evenings’ entertainment.

MYJO is a 20 piece big-band which features the cream of Midlands' young musicians, aged from 18-25, many of whom go on to make careers in the music business. MYJO, directed by John Ruddick MBE, is itself a charity, engaged in developing  young musicians from an early age.

As well as supporting their work, this concert will raise funds for Rotary’s local charity Carers Careline, whose aim is to promote the health, mental and emotional wellbeing of adult carers, especially the elderly, in the local community through the identification of hidden carers, early intervention, preventative action and pastoral care.

The concert starts at 7.30pm on Saturday, 12th October, and the venue is Trinity High School, Grove Street, Redditch, B98 8DT (use Access 1 off the Town Centre Ring Road).
