Organisers of Birmingham Pride have announced that 80’s icons, The Human League, will be one of the headliners at the popular two-day LGBT festival taking place in May.
The internationally renowned synth-pop trio, best known for their smash hit ‘Don’t You Want Me’, have been confirmed as headliners for Sunday night.
Having sold over 20 million records worldwide, The Human League have garnered an army of fans for their distinctive electro-pop sound with hits including Mirror Man, Louise and Electric Dreams.
Birmingham Pride is set in the heart of the city's gay village and last year attracted more than 75,000 spectators who turned out to support the parade through the city centre. Tens of thousands of party revellers then went on to enjoy the festival in the city’s gay village over the two days. This year's festival, featuring the theme ‘Love Out Loud', takes place on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May.
