A popular ramen shop in Worcester has set up a Kickstarter campaign to help raise funds in order to expand the business.

Lucky Cat Noodle first opened as a pop-up restaurant on Worcester's Cherry Tree Walk just over six months ago, with the 20-seater ramen bar almost instantly becoming fully booked on a daily basis.

After such a successful launch, the restaurant's owners have now set their sights on upgrading to a full-service restaurant.

The restaurant's fundraising goal of £30,000 will be used to facilitate the renovation works of the railway arch on Cherry Tree Walk and creating a restaurant that will cover up to 40 diners. Work is set to be completed by June 2021.

Lucky Cat Noodle forms part of a larger restaurant group: A Rule of Tum, who have successful restaurants already running in Worcester and Hereford.

With every pledge made to the restaurant's Kickstarter campaign, supporters will recieve an award. Awards range from ramen bowels and aprons to free ramen at the restaurantt for a whole year.
