Europe’s longest-established taiko group, Mugenkyo fuse thundering rhythms on huge drums with layers of percussive soundscapes and the delicate sound of the shinobue bamboo flute.

Since forming in 1994, the group have become widely admired for their energetic performances and impressive theatrical style, along the way making critically acclaimed appearances at numerous high-profile events, including the Brit Awards and the BBC’s Last Night of the Proms. They’ve even performed in a Bollywood movie!
