Birmingham Museums' Collection Centre Open Day is back on Saturday 12 September.
Join them for a full day of family-friendly activities all while exploring their artefact-packed warehouse, including guided talks, family trails and meeting the experts.
There will also be time for visitors to explore and wander at your leisure, seeing a contrasting mix of objects, many of which offer a real insight into life in Birmingham and the West Midlands over the centuries.
Amongst the hundreds of thousands of objects, you will see steam engines, sculptures, giant spider crabs, even the kitchen sink. If you are interested in something, you’ll find it at the Museum Collection Centre.
Refreshments will be available for purchase and you are welcome to bring your own food to eat in our outdoor seating area.
There will also be a free vintage bus service running all day, bringing guests to and from Birmingham city centre and the Museum Collection Centre.
