Dave’s Hot Chicken, the cult L.A. born brand that took London by storm, is set to open its first location outside of the capital this July, with a showstopping site on Birmingham’s New Street.
With a total of 102 covers, the bold new opening is located at 56 New Street, an iconic Art Deco style corner building featuring distinctive curved balconies and a striking presence in the heart of the city. Whether hitting the shops, catching a film at the nearby Odeon, or heading home via Birmingham New Street Station, Dave’s is set to become the king of Birmingham’s Chicken Quarter.
The site is set to be an intergalactic experience with a galaxy and space-themed design, complete with UFO installations and sci-fi inspired interiors. With graffiti inspired by legendary L.A. based street artists Splatterhaus and Dehmq, the theme pays homage to the distinctive street art style found across Dave’s U.S. locations, capturing the dynamic spirit of Los Angeles and launching guests into a whole new world of fried chicken indulgence.
The new opening represents a major milestone for the brand’s UK rollout following its successful UK debut in London’s Shaftesbury Avenue, which still sees hour-long queues months past opening, signalling the start of a nationwide expansion and confirming Dave’s Hot Chicken as the hottest name in fast casual dining once again.
