This autumn, step into a world where fragrance meets flavour as The Grand Hotel Birmingham partners with Jo Malone London to unveil a captivating Afternoon Tea experience. 

Available until 2 November 2025 this exclusive offering blends the artistry of fine patisserie with Jo Malone London’s iconic fragrances.

Carefully curated by The Grand Hotel’s talented culinary team and Head Chef, Brad French, the afternoon tea menu features a stunning selection of savouries and patisserie, culminating in a fragrance-inspired selection of Petits Gâteaux, each inspired by a different Jo Malone London fragrance.

Savoury highlights include:
Roast Beef on onion bread with horseradish emulsion
Cucumber & Roquette Mascarpone on white bread
Smoked Salmon with cornichon and dill crème fraîche
Goats Cheese with onion marmalade and crispy shallots

Petits Gâteaux – Fragrance-Inspired Delicacies:
Citrus Sablé Sandwich – A zesty delight of mandarin sponge, lime & mandarin crémeux, and basil diplomat, inspired by Jo Malone London’s citrus-forward scents
Blackberry Tart – Featuring blackberry compote, bay leaf ganache, and olive oil sponge, evoking rich, earthy notes
Pear Gâteau – Vanilla sponge with pear compote, jasmine mousse, and pear gel, reflecting Jo Malone London’s signature Pear & Freesia fragrance.

Accompanied by freshly baked Goji Berry and White Quinoa Scones, served with seasonal preserves and Rodda’s clotted cream.

The Jo Malone Afternoon Tea at The Grand Hotel is available Wednesday through Sunday, from 12pm to 5pm, until 2nd November. £70 per person, which includes a £25 voucher redeemable in-store towards Jo Malone London products.
