Following the success of its wellbeing café concept grounded., Birmingham-based charity Living Well UK is proud to unveil its latest venture, Collected., a purpose-driven retail space designed to spotlight the city’s most inspiring local businesses and independent makers.
Focused on ‘Conscious community collaboration’, Collected. will take root inside existing grounded. café locations – St. Pauls and Selly Oak – blending Living Well UK’s mission for better mental health across the region, with an exciting new opportunity for Birmingham-based creators to shine.
As well as two in-store locations based in grounded. the new initiative will also have its own store space based in Kings Heath, with the exact location set to be announced in the coming weeks.
Far more than a standard store, Collected. is a curated space that reflects the values of wellbeing, creativity, and community. Rotating regularly, the shopfront will host handpicked local brands – giving each business a limited-time platform to showcase their products, connect with new customers, and be part of something truly meaningful.
Living Well UK is inviting local businesses, artists, and independent retailers to pitch for their chance to be featured in Collected., with successful applicants securing a spot in the store for a set time period of three months, before making way for the next wave of creative talent from across the city. The aim of Collected. is to build a truly inclusive ecosystem – where visibility, community and purpose go hand-in-hand.
Not only does Collected. give businesses a valuable stage to reach more people in the city; it also helps fund the vital work of Living Well UK, with 2% of all profits going back into the charity’s mission to reshape the Midlands’ mental health landscape.
Applications are now open for businesses that want to be part of the debut of Collected., with the team looking for a range of creators to join from homewares and apparel; to art and sculpture: and everything in between.
