New burger brand Mustard launches in Birmingham

A new burger brand, Mustard, is launching and has announced a 3 month residency in The Station, Kings Heath.

Launching on Friday 21 March, menu items include: The First One (beef patty, cheese, ketchup, mustard, onion and gherkin), The Cheesy Bacon Barbeque One (beef patty, cheese, BBQ sauce, bacon and crispy onion), mac n cheese balls, loaded fries, mozzarella sticks and more.

Owner Sean McCabe comments: "Food is something I've always enjoyed, and it's something I can get passionate about. I love to cook with and for people, to see the looks of satisfaction in that first mouthful. So in March 2024 I launched a street food business called The StreetBaller. Since that time, I've learned so much, from a genuinely supportive and incredible community of street food traders and hospitality/event workers in Birmingham. I can not overstate how much help and support I received from all of these people, and being part of that community of traders (collectively known as The Streetfood Society) has given me the confidence and know how to go from strength to strength and to launch this second brand, Mustard.

"The ethos of Mustard. is a move back to a more traditional burger. Smashed burgers have been the buzzword for a few years now. I want Mustard to be a nostalgic brand, making you think of and look back to those Summer's back in your childhood, when your Dad pulled out the barbecue and got some fat patty's on the go. That's where the branding inspiration comes from really, and I can't wait to get slinging burgers on home turf, in partnership with The Station in Kings Heath. A 3 month residency, which I'm ecstatic to be a part of."

You'll find Mustard at the service hatch in the back garden. Sunshine, beer gardens and delicious burgers, anyone?

Mustard will be serving Thursday and Friday nights and all day on Saturdays. Give them a follow on Instagram here: instagram.com/mustard.streetfood
