Ten years after opening its doors, Resorts World Birmingham is marking its milestone birthday with a weekend of family fun, live entertainment, and special offers – a fitting celebration of a decade filled with unforgettable moments that have brought people together and fuelled community spirit across the region.

Across Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 October, the centre will be alive with live performances, family-friendly activities, giveaways, epic parties and exclusive brand offers. Expect a renowned local DJ, musicians, roaming performers, creative workshops and plenty of surprises along the way, as Resorts World celebrates ten years of memories in true style.

On Saturday, celebrations begin at 10am with an open Photobooth and a giant light-up number 10 for those all-important selfies. Visitors can enjoy CircusMash roaming performers throughout the day, Magic Russ’s family-friendly magic and party games, and feel-good sets from the Heavy Beat Brass Band - the UK’s most authentic New Orleans-style brass band, recently seen on Joe Lycett’s United States of Birmingham. Families can also get hands-on with Birthday Hat Crafting from 11am to 1pm with local artist Milan Topalović.

There’s plenty for adults too, with The Big Birthday Bottomless Brunch at Sky Bar & Restaurant and an evening of epic parties with Queen Bee’s Drag Extravaganza in The World Bar and live music and DJ sets by Tony Roberts in the new High Line bar and lounge inside Resorts World Casino (over 18s only).

The fun continues on Sunday, with the Photobooth open from 11am to 6pm, and a show-stopping performance from the much-loved Louby Lou Clown. Blending traditional clowning with Ibiza dance tunes, dazzling magic, and a live saxophone finale, Louby Lou’s show is packed with laughter, surprises and pure excitement – a treat for kids and grown-ups alike.

A lively kids Silent Disco will also run throughout the afternoon, led by local DJ legend John ‘JD’ Dalziel. There’ll be plenty of prizes too - from Five Guys gift cards and Las Iguanas bottomless brunches to Miller & Carter and TGI Fridays vouchers – plus social giveaways such as a 12 month Cineworld Unlimited Membership, a Hollywood Bowl kids Birthday Party Package, an escape room experience for six people from Escape Hunt and more. TGI Fridays will be serving £2.50 pints and £6 cocktails, while those celebrating their own birthdays can enjoy a free two-course meal when dining with another adult. Nando’s will also be treating two lucky tables each day to a “Table for Free” during the birthday week.

Over the past decade, Resorts World has grown into a destination where memories are made. From dazzling LED drummers to pop-up wellbeing spaces, the centre has hosted hundreds of free family events - including school holiday workshops that have brought colour and creativity to thousands of visitors.
