Birmingham's newest tailoring destination is opening in style - and they're on the hunt for the city's best Tom Hardy lookalike.
King & Allen, an inclusive tailoring company known for its bespoke and made-to-measure suits, is launching its Jewellery Quarter store at 16 Kenyon Forge with a celebrity lookalike competition that's got everyone talking. The prize? A made to measure three-piece suit worth over £1,800.
Following the viral success of similar competitions across the UK (remember last year’s Tommy Shelby lookalike contest which took place at the Bullring?), this is Birmingham's chance to showcase its most ruggedly handsome and stylish residents. Whether you're a dead ringer for the Peaky Blinders star or just fancy your chances, the competition is open to everyone - all genders, all ages.
To enter, pre-register online here or walk up on the day and register between 11am-5pm at the store.
The real action happens during the evening launch party (5pm-8pm), when judges will run a keen eye over the contestants before crowning the winner. There'll be participation prizes on the night for two lucky runners up as well as a complimentary style consultation.
Even if you're not competing, the launch party is open to all and offers a chance to explore the new store's collection in the heart of Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter.
It's free, it's fun, and you might just walk away with a suit that would make Tom Hardy himself jealous.
King & Allen opens on Thursday 6 November at 16 Kenyon Forge, Kenyon Street, B18 6DH. The launch party takes place from 5-8pm. Judging begins at 6:30pm and the winner will be announced at 7pm.
