After more than a decade of sold-out festivals, flavour innovation and fiery wing challenges, Wing Fest is taking its next major step beyond the festival circuit. This marks the brand’s debut permanent food concept - and it’s landed in the heart of Birmingham.
This is not just another chicken spot. The Wing Fest team has curated an elite, festival-inspired menu designed for true chicken and wing lovers, featuring award-winning flavours and collaborations from some of the UK’s best wing slingers.
Highlights include fan-favourite sauces Bombay Bad Boy and Honey Buffalo from the award-winning Hot Chick, alongside a selection of Wing Fest-approved flavours such as Smokey Bourbon BBQ, Maple Truffle Parmesan, Korean BBQ with chilli crunch, and Honey, Ginger & Soy.
The menu also features succulent chicken tenders, juicy fried chicken burgers, and a line-up of crave-worthy sides including loaded fries, jalapeño bites and Korean miso corn ribs.
Founded in 2014 in a car park in Dalston, London, Wing Fest has grown into the world’s largest chicken wing festival, now hosting six major events annually across the UK. Founded by Richard Thacker, who grew up on a chicken farm, the festival attracts tens of thousands of wing fans each year who travel from far and wide to taste the nation’s best wings, vote for their favourites and help crown the UK’s top wing champions.
Today, Wing Fest serves over one million wings annually, all crafted by the very best independent wing masters in the country - and now, for the first time, fans can experience Wing Fest flavours year-round at Selfridges Birmingham.
