A well-known takeaway which has relocated to a new, permanent unit as part of the ongoing transformation of Oakengates has welcomed the move.

Ephesus Pizza & Grill, previously located on Limes Walk, has moved to a new unit at 43 Market Street as the regeneration of the town centre continues.

The move was supported by Telford & Wrekin Council as part of the Theatre Quarter investment project.

Owner Faruk Yuksel is delighted with the new space and is hoping to grow his business now it is in a permanent home.

The new unit is more spacious and features a larger kitchen, a wider shop frontage and improved visibility on Market Street.

Ephesus employs four staff and serves up a range of delicious dishes including pizzas, kebabs and a variety of value meals.

The Theatre Quarter programme in Oakengates has seen the transformation of a 1960s shopping precinct into modern retail units with residential apartments above.

In Oakengates, Telford Theatre is also being demolished and rebuilt to create new first class facilities for visitors to enjoy.

Telford & Wrekin Council is investing £300 million into a range of developments across Telford and Wrekin in Oakengates, at Station Quarter in Telford Town Centre and Wellington which are all part of the Investing in Telford and Wrekin programme.

The Council is committed to making the Borough a better place to live, work, learn and socialise through these high-profile investment projects.
