Excitement is building in Telford as the town’s much-loved Amphitheatre in Telford Town Park prepares to reopen with a vibrant, free opening weekend on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July 2026, launching a summer-long programme of accessible arts and entertainment.

The reopening weekend will bring the Amphitheatre back to life with two days of live music and performances, hosted by compere Neil Jackson, and showcasing a mix of local talent and popular acts.

The celebrations begin on Saturday 18 July with an opening address from Councillor Nathalie Page, Mayor of Telford and Wrekin, followed by performances from:
- Shades of Grey (12.15pm)
- Caradoc & The Loachra (1.30pm)
- Stomping Jacks (2.45pm)
- Collision (4.00pm)
- The Endings (5.15pm)

Sunday’s line-up includes:
- Jester (12pm)
- Hadley Male Voice Choir (1.15pm)
- Midnight Jukes (2.30pm)
- Broadcast Alley (3.45pm)

The opening weekend marks the official launch of Telford Theatre on Tour 2026, a programme designed to bring high-quality, affordable cultural experiences into the heart of the community.

Looking ahead, the celebrations will continue throughout the summer, with plans already underway to welcome back some of the much-loved bands from the Amphitheatre’s heyday.
