Exciting new painting classes are due to start in Shrewsbury.

Artist Jessica Rose is offering courses for adults in watercolour, acrylic and oil painting from her home studio in the town.

Jessica is a professional painter and printmaker and has been teaching art for over a decade. Her work has been exhibited in London’s Mall Galleries and at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

She said: I am very passionate about teaching adults how to draw and paint. The courses are suitable for all levels - it doesn’t matter if they already have some experience or don’t know one end of a pencil from the other.

“One of the most rewarding things about teaching is seeing a group of people come together each week to learn new skills and explore their creativity - and my students always seem to build lasting friendships with each other too."
