Just over 50 years after it first galloped onto cinema screens, Monty Python and the Holy Grail remains one of the most popular and quotable comedy films ever made. Now, audiences have the chance to relive the magic and celebrate the milestone as the legendary John Cleese takes to the stage to host a unique screening and Q&A about the film.

A UK tour will make its way to select venues around the UK throughout September, including Birmingham Town Hall on the 20th.

The show will celebrate more than half a century of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, beginning with an introduction from John Cleese himself, before audiences get to enjoy a full screening of the iconic film. Following the screening, audiences will be treated to a 45-minute Q&A interview with Cleese (hosted by a local interviewer) including the opportunity to ask their own with questions of the comedy legend. During the discussions, Cleese will reflect on the making of the film, the legacy of Monty Python - and whatever else he can still remember.
