Families across Telford and Wrekin are being encouraged to get active, creative and outdoors this May half-term, with a packed programme of fun and affordable activities taking place at leisure centres, parks and cultural venues across the borough.
From Tuesday 26 May to Sunday 31 May, children and young people can enjoy a wide range of activities including swimming and fun floats, soft play, cycling, golf, adventure activities and outdoor games, alongside cultural and creative sessions delivered in community venues.
Many activities are available at low cost, with selected sessions free to attend, helping families enjoy the school break without stretching household budgets. The programme builds on the council’s ongoing commitment to providing inclusive, accessible leisure and culture opportunities close to home.
Highlights include sessions at Telford Town Park, activities at local leisure centres, cycling opportunities through the Telford Bike Hub and outdoor fun across neighbourhood parks and green spaces. Booking is required for some activities and families are encouraged to plan ahead for popular sessions.
Families can view the full programme of May half-term activities, including times, locations and booking information on the Telford & Wrekin leisure website.
