The festive magic of Jack and the Beanstalk will be made more accessible this December with a special relaxed performance designed to create a comfortable and enjoyable theatre experience for a wider range of audience members.

Taking place at 11am on Monday 28 December 2026 at the Telford International Centre, the relaxed performance has been specially adapted to create a more comfortable and welcoming environment for audience members who may find a traditional theatre setting overwhelming.

The performance will feature the same giant pantomime adventure, colourful characters and festive fun, but with adjustments including reduced sound and lighting effects, fewer sudden noises and a calmer atmosphere throughout the show.

The performance is designed for adults and children with autism, sensory and communication needs, learning disabilities or dementia, as well as anyone who would simply prefer a quieter and more relaxed theatre experience.

Audiences attending the relaxed performance can expect the same family-friendly story, laughter and festive entertainment that makes Telford Theatre's annual pantomime one of the highlights of the Christmas season, with thoughtful adaptations to support a wider range of needs.
