Shropshire will host its first-ever Happier Festival: a bold new one-day event dedicated to celebrating joy, wellbeing and community connection on Saturday 26 July.

Taking place at the iconic Flaxmill Maltings, the festival is the most ambitious project to date undertaken by local wellness educator and Dwtylife founder, Sian Van Beek, and is expected to attract hundreds of visitors from across the region.

Bringing together over 50 Shropshire-based small businesses, wellness leaders and creatives, the festival will feature:
- A bustling indoor market with local makers, artists, and wellbeing services
- A range of free feel-good activities including mindfulness, screen-printing, drawing, and
meditation
- Interactive workshops in fitness, yoga, creativity and self-discovery
- A community picnic space to unwind, connect, and enjoy time offline
- A vibrant and community-focused atmosphere where all are welcome

The festival builds on Dwtylife’s mission of supporting everyday people in building lives they actually enjoy waking up for - focused on sustainable health and true happiness.

Through Dwtylife, Sian has personally supported over 150 people in Shropshire in the past two years in finding deeper, sustained happiness and wellbeing through Dwtylife’s three-pillar approach: gratitude, yoga and joyful living. Community classes, workshops and day events are at the heart of Dwtylife; with both the in-person and online Dwtylife community rapidly growing.

With Shrewsbury’s creative and wellness scene booming, Happier Festival is poised to become a joyful summer staple.

Taking place from 10am - 4.30pm, tickets are £9 and can bought via dwtylife.com/happierfest
