St Chad's will be sparkling with twinkling lights once again this December when a host of beautifully decorated and illuminated Christmas trees fills the church for the opening of its annual Christmas Tree Festival.

There will also be an on-going and diverse programme of Christmas music, song and dance. Admission is free. This spectacular display of trees starts on 19 December and will run daily until 3 January 2026.

The Festival is a special experience, and the stunningly decorated Christmas trees set in the wonderful ambience of St. Chad’s will be a real Christmastide treat for all the family.

The trees are sponsored by the generosity of local businesses, charities and community organisations and St. Chads is once again welcoming them to sponsor a tree at its annual festival. People interested in sponsorship should contact socialmedia@stchadschurchshrewsbury.com or call 07861 562615.

Sponsorship helps the work of St Chad’s and provides a mutual benefit to sponsors who can display their leaflets and brochures at the base of the tree. Sponsors provide and install their own decorations and LED Christmas lights, either conventionally or to reflect a theme relevant to their business, commercial branding or objectives.
