As part of Telford & Wrekin Council’s youth offer, ten free football sessions will be available at Oakengates Leisure Centre during the school holidays.
Sessions are for 11 to 17 year olds and will be delivered by the 4 All Foundation on 21, 23, 28, 30 July and on 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20 August from 3.30 to 5.30pm.
Sessions on 30 July and 13 August will finish at the slightly earlier time of 5pm.
All abilities are welcome and there’s no need to book, young people can just turn up and play. They need to wear football boots or trainers and bring a water bottle.
During the sessions, they’ll have the opportunity to learn new skills, play and have fun.
As well as free football sessions, there’s a wide range of sports and activities available during the summer as part of the Council’s level up your summer campaign.
The sessions also support the Council’s child friendly ambitions to make the Borough one of the best places for children and young people to live and grow up.

Anyone taking part in a level up activity this summer has the opportunity to win a free family hot air balloon ride with Virgin Hot Air Balloons at this summer’s Balloon Fiesta.
The free footballs sessions are organised as part of Telford and Wrekin Council’s youth offer, which provides young people aged 11–19 (and up to 25 with additional needs) with information and access to safe spaces, activities, and support services. More information, including details of youth clubs running during the summer can be found online.
