Work is to begin on Monday 1 September on a mixed-use commercial development between Oteley Road and Hazledine Way in Shrewsbury.
The development will accommodate seven commercial units of various sizes and 101 parking spaces, plus EV charging points.
So far, Starbucks, KFC and Indigo Sun have signed up, with two further units under offer and two units still available for interested businesses.
The construction work is being carried out by Morris Property on behalf of Shropshire Council. It'll last 12 months after which the tenants will be doing fit-outs of their units before they open for business.
During the first phase of work, overnight one-way closures – 8pm to 6am – will be in place on Hazledine Way from 1 to 19 September, and from 29 September to 8 November.
The eastern side of the site has been sold to a care home operator who will provide a 66 bed facility with 25 parking spaces.
